At Insane Fitness we focus on functional training which will allow you to perform daily activities of life more easily and without injury.  While still challenging the body to its full potential by involving mainly weight bearing activities targeted at core muscles and lower back.

We typically focus on compound exercises that require more than one muscle group to work together like a squat, deadlift, lunge or push-up.
Functional training helps your body to move more comfortable.  And, of course, a body that moves comfortably is more likely to burn more calories without exercise.

Functional training can also make your other workouts more effective and this benefit is key for people who are trying to lose weight.
One of the best things about functional training is that it can be done at home or at the gym.  For example, you can use resistance bands or dumbbells at home, or do weight movements such as push-ups, pilates and squats.  

You are probably wondering if this means you will have to train everyday. 
The purpose of functional training is to improve your ability to perform your everyday activities at each life stage. The activities of daily living change, and so should functional exercises.
